What's new in 3E COACH: October 2026
The late-September and October round-up: selling programs from your public page, a client list that says who is still training, a new barcode scanner, a choice of notifications, and booked slots in the phone's calendar.
The last two weeks shipped more than any month before them. Here is what changed for a coach and for a client — in plain words, not release notes. The full list with dates is always at What's new.
Sell a program from your public page
The big one. Until now your public page collected enquiries; now it can sell. In settings you attach a program to a service and switch on "Sell" — and a Buy button appears on the page.
The buyer pays through Stripe, signs up if they have to and lands straight back on the purchase. The program appears in their calendar at once, from the day of purchase: sessions, exercises, clips. They are not your client — they log nothing, write nothing, take no seat in your plan. They get the program to read and follow.
Honestly about money: the platform takes 15 %, but never less than EUR 3 (EUR 5 on the free plan), at the moment of sale — not an invoice at the end of the month. Selling works on the free plan too, because every feature is in every plan.
The buyer picks when to start — a Move button in the calendar shifts every session not yet done to the chosen day. And somebody who buys a program they once had and finished starts it over.
More on preparing and pricing a program in its own article.
The client list says who is still training
The list used to show a name, the program's state and that was it. To learn whether the person opens the app at all, you opened each client in turn. Now every row shows three things: when they were last in the app, how many sessions they did in 30 days and what comes next — a session, or a booked slot with its hour.
A client quiet for a week is marked in amber. The sidebar's "missed workouts" and "clients without a program" now lead straight to those clients. Beside each one — two buttons: message, plan.
Barcode scanner: a new decoder and a frame
On iPhones the scanner has a new decoder — the one browsers' built-in ones are measured against. The old one was slow and poor at exactly the codes food carries. The screen shows a frame to hold the barcode in; a code is accepted only when read twice running, so a misread no longer turns into "product not found". A product already in our database is shown at once.
You choose which notifications reach your phone
In settings, under the notifications switch, a list of what to send. For a client: the coach's messages, booked sessions, the daily reminder, the program, invoices. For a coach: client messages, bookings, client activity, programs ending, Stripe. Each switches off on its own; until now it was all or nothing. The bell inside the app shows everything, as before.
Booked slots — in the phone's calendar too
Calendar sync brought only planned sessions. The meeting with the coach — the one entry with an exact hour — was left out. Now it comes through: the hour, the place, the note. Entries come in the reader's language.
The small things that grated
- Progress opens on the scale. For the client, and for the coach on a client's progress page, the weight curve is at the very top. "Is anything moving?" is answered at a glance.
- A copied session brings its warm-up. On the planning board a copy used to take the title and the exercises only; the warm-up, the cool-down, the clips and the chosen fields vanished.
- Switching to Spotify keeps your numbers. Reps and weights typed mid-workout no longer disappear when you come back; the screen stays awake.
- The client sees only the fields you chose. Strength without RPE, bands without weight — and the choice stays chosen after saving.
- Steps by hand. For yesterday, or any day in the last month.
- Frequent foods first. When logging food, what you eat often surfaces first, with your usual portion.
- The new-version notice shows when the version was built, so it reads differently after every update.
